On the morning of May 18h, Children’s Happy Faces committee settled in to have breakfast at Uncle Jack’s Steakhouse and plan 11th annual Golf Outing to Benefit Ronald McDonald House New York. Before the planning took place, Marta Peralta and Dave Lipson presented Mitchell Barry with an honorary plaque highlighting the Barry Family’s involvement in the efforts that have resulted in over $4 million raised to help families afflicted with pediatric cancer. Marta who is a long time Century employee is also the person who originally started the fundraising efforts. In her speech she expressed gratitude on behalf of all the families whose lives were changed by the time and resources allocated by the Barry Family and their generous partners. Mr. Barry was moved by this gesture and continued to emphasize the importance that this charity plays in his life and how vital it is for us all to unite and offer what we can to those who need it most.
