32BJ Ratification for 2018 Apartment Building Agreement.
The members of 32BJ have ratified the 2018 Apartment Building Agreement. Records were set in terms of the percentage of eligible voters (almost 40%) and the percentage of votes accepting the terms (between 98 and 99%). This clearly shows that the union members were overwhelmingly supportive of the terms of the new agreement. The RAB will post this news on their website shortly. All employers who wish to be bound to the new agreement should implement the agreed to wage increases retroactive to April 21. The RAB will send out Assents shortly.
